![]() Atsuya’s reaction, even though it’s a bit excessive, is only understandable. Shirou and his actions disappointed, upsetted and made Atsuya very sad. But in your life, the people who hurt you the most are the ones closest to you. And Shirou didn’t only treat him like a child, but he sacrificed himself to protect his lil baby of his, aka Atsuya.Īs his lil brother, Atsuya loves Shirou more than anyone in the world. Anyway, that’s a fact I always knew about him, and I thought that MAYBE, Atsuya was also angry at him for treating him like a child when he wasn’t one anymore. I believe that Shirou thought the same way as I do. I wouldn’t forgive myself if I know that I could have done MORE for them. I would also do EVERYTHING in my power to protect my family and my friends, even if it means I have to get my hands dirty and sacrifice myself. That’s why, even though I think Shirou did some mistakes, I still can understand his actions and the reasons behind them. That’s why I feel even more connected to him. I’m VERY PROTECTIVE with my own lil sis as well. If there’s one thing I truly love from Shirou is how protective he’s with Atsuya. I even got upset at him because, even though I could understand his reasons for being angry, I couldn’t help but hate his behavior after Shirou surely did for him. It hurt me to see Atsuya acting so cold toward Shirou. Though, I must say that it hurt me to see that Shirou wasn’t going to deny the facts. Shirou’s actions are more revealing and it makes the possibility of him being the traitor more obvious than before. He broke their trust.Īnyway, with all the elements from the episodes, when we connect them, it seems totally logical and plausible. They were supposed to be in this together, but Shirou didn’t hesitate on sacrificing himself for his sake, and worse, he betrayed the team. In his head, Shirou was a selfish asshole with his head stuck on this idea of being such a good a big brother, that he forgot about what’s happening around them. He’s not upset about Shirou contacting Orion, but because his brother felt like it was a necessary evil to protect him. He’s not a child that needs his older brothers protection, he wanted to fight among their friends as well. ![]() Shirou was risking his life on the field facing Orion on the asian eliminatories, and Atsuya had to stand back against the odds? He indeed feels betrayed. He think he was being seen as a baby brother and nothing more. In his head, he feels horrible about having to be protected by Shirou. Now, why Atsuya would be upset by that? We all now his hothead way of being.
